Breaking News: Anambra State Governorship candidate of NNPP has been Kidnapped

According to Source, Chief Leonard Uchendu, the governorship candidate of New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), for the forthcoming Anambra governorship election has been kidnapped.

He was abducted in the early hours of Sunday in Awka, the state capital.

We gathered that the NNPP had on Friday raised alarm over the intimidation of its governorship candidate in the November  16th governorship poll. It was also gathered that the state had asked him to step aside as the President-General of Umuawulu in Awka South Local Government, Anambra State

As at press time, no demand has been made by the kidnappers so far.
